In the recent months many academy students have joined myself, Virty, Kaelis in play MovieBattles 2 Mod for JK3. While browseing the community website i stumbled across a variation of the same mod, call The New Era (TNE). TNE is basically the Moviebattles mod for the source engine.
Think of the possiblities, the ability to grab things in the environment and throw them at opponents, use the corpse of the stormy you just decapatated as a human shield, use the stormtrooper helmet from the same decapitated trooper as a flying projectile ^^. Thats just the jedi side. You also have the gunners, with their rockets, and thermal detonators that will make Jedi fly thru the air all ragdolly 
Check out their site They have plans for a totally new saber system, a singleplayer mode, on top of the Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the flag, and Moviebattles(Team Assault) modes. _______________ Come on now, every Generation X boy wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Is it because he was a whiney farm boy from some backwater hack planet? No, it's because he was a FREAKING JEDI. He could block lasers with his lightsaber. He could levitate droids & rocks & crap with his mind. Come on, he choked two pig dudes with just a simple gesture. He cut off Darth Vader's hand and kicked him down a flight of stairs. Looks good. But I still haven't purchased Source 
Seeing as I never played HL2
