What is the diet of the JA? What food(s) does everyone like?
For me, nothing beats a dish my mother makes for Xmas every year: Rouladen with red cabbage and spätzele. Rouladen is basically really tender beef, with mustard, onions and bacon (thx TiTo  ) and then its rolled up and cooked in a nice gravy. Mmmmmm...my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Aeth, I think a gurken is a pickle if I'm not mistaken. And did you know, that the smell of McDonald's is manufactured? It's not the smell of the food cooking or anything. Weird! As far as Pizza Hut, I agree 100%! I do like most other fast food though. I gotta share a Pizza Hut story with ya. A friend of my bro's was here from Germany. He wanted to try NY pizza. We passed by a Pizza Hut and he thought it was "Pizza Hat". First of all all kind of italien food. Just love it. They're just the masters of food Huge but thin and crispy pizza, pasta, salads *dreams* Sandwiches of course too. I dont like those with toast, more those with baguette. Fresh baguette, crispy and cross... some cheese, salad, tomatoes, egg, "gurken" in german, lol dunno english word. Duh, getting hungry P.S. Did I say I hate fast food? *silence* No, really, I'm serious. I only go to McDonalds with friends, almost eat nothing though. Same goes for pizza hut. Brr, did you ever realised the smell of McDonalds? Terrible! And if you ever saw one of the waiters with dirty old plasters touch your chips... my god! Lasagne is awesome too!!! How 'bout pasta(any kind) with a nice meat sauce. My dad makes a mean meat sauce, IMHO, the best I've ever tasted. A Kraut that makes awesome pasta, go figure!

A nice juicy steak is good too. Pizza is awesome as well, especially from Mamma Mia's Pizza here on Lawn Giland. They still have the Zaxxon game in this place since like 1983 or so. Used to ride my bike there to get a slice of 'za and play Zaxxon! What about junk food? I like plain old pretzels with some ice-cold Cherry Coke! Mistral - spätzle is like pasta, just has a little sweeter taste.
