I'm working on a website and i want to add an application to it that allows viewers to see open camp lots (its for a campground).
So heres what i'm looking for: -The ability to register online to book a lot for a certain time period (Ex: User books lot 17 for July fifth to July Sixth.) -A camplot listing that will allow me to put a picture showing each lot. -A link to a calander for each camplot. A calander appears and writen in each space is a green AVAILABLE text if its open, and a RED UNAVAILABLE on that date. So the calander will show UNAVAILABLE cuz a guy booked it for july 5-6. -A PAYPAL interface so they must pay in advance if they book a lot. (scares away that guy who books every lot for 2 years in a row w/o using 'em or paying). -An automated system connectid to the register computer, so if some1 registers in for a lot it appears unavailable since they registered it. Well, to me it might be a good solid CMS, but i got tones of those and they don't fit the easy to use picture. I woulda googled it but i don't think it can comprehend all that  .

Not trying to insult you in any way at all, but if you want help then could at least act less....childish? If you're serious about w/e project your working on, then maybe you should act serious and discontinue the childish spite you show towards the people who might have been a tad unfair towards you (your signature is just one example of this).
I don't condemn playing around on the internet 'nor do I advocate maturity. 1. No, i'm not askin you to finish this, i just need a link to where i can find the app.
2. I don't code PHP, SQL, JAVA, PERL or anything that will allow me to make something cool... yet. I only do HTML and snippets of php. I do work w/ phpBB forums a lot. I work with MetaBB, phpBB with over 100 mods to it (its hard cuz everything is moved around... coding it is EXTREMELY HARD) 3. I really appreciate the help. I now know to give up those google searches and just start thinking "Is it really worth all this trouble even though i'm just doing them a favor, i mean, i'm not getting paid a penny". So I might have to scratch my online-catalog rental thingey majig system... unless my Webbuilding for Dummies 9 in 1 guide w/ a cd has it . I get the feeling I should get cooking for dummies before I start cooking food into charcoal like one of my close relatives .
5. If you stumble across something like how to succesfully make a fusion reaction that could power the world or... um... make a lightsaber let me know so i can rub it in the cool people's faces  .

That sounds like a pretty specific and custom application. I believe you'd have an easier time writing a system from scratch rather than adapting an existing CMS. That's just my opinion based on my experience with ready-made systems, but I might be wrong. Let us know if you find anything, could be interesting. _______________ make install -not war |
