Crysis to be releashed Nov 16th
In the 1st paragraph it lists all the games coming out this year...and its a hefty and badass list. _______________ Come on now, every Generation X boy wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Is it because he was a whiney farm boy from some backwater hack planet? No, it's because he was a FREAKING JEDI. He could block lasers with his lightsaber. He could levitate droids & rocks & crap with his mind. Come on, he choked two pig dudes with just a simple gesture. He cut off Darth Vader's hand and kicked him down a flight of stairs. He got his @$$ zapped by lightning from the geezer Emperor, stood up and said "s'at all you got b!tc#??" |

Unreal 3 engine is quite impressive, along with Doom 3 engine and CryENGINE2. Although I don't think CryENGINE2 has been used in anything available yet, but I could be wrong. Source always is #1 in my book; it has very flexible system support, great physics, stellar lighting, realistic AI (not scripted) and impressive graphics to boot. Valve gives it vast improvements each release, so I'm sure that it will stay in the race for a while. _______________ "Deos fortioribus adesse." |

I'd have to say this one force unleashed one... not sure about its name. I watched a trailer and this jedi ripped off a stormies helmet w/ the force while gripping him and lightning him and pushing him off a ledge. the other stormies ran for their lives. . It'll be cool no doubt.

Hmm...long list for me. So many games that have boundless potential.
HL2 Episode 2 (portal and tf2) Bioshock Fable 2 Assassins Creed Mass Effect Starcraft 2 Fallout 3 KOTOR 3 (?) Diablo 3 (?) Jade Empire 2 (??) Not much of a gamer, but many of the games coming out have strong links to some of the classic games that I grew up with. Assassins creed reminds me of thief, I miss the fallout series dearly, System Shock 2 scared me white and Half Life was the game that set the bar for nearly every aspect of video games for me. I'm also hoping to see GTA 4 and Spore, but thats mainly because the games are immensely popular right now. KOTOR 3 and Diablo 3 might happen, but right now it's just floating on rumors as far as I know. Jade Empire 2, due to it's popularity, seems like a candidate for a sequel later on in 09. _______________ "Deos fortioribus adesse."
