Bought it two days ago. Its not bad, could be better is all I can say. Its a bit buggy here and there and unlike it says on the back, it is NOT Oblivion on steroids. It's more like NWN2 on morphine.
There are a couple of good features in it that make it worth taking a few hours of my time but I keep getting weird S.T.A.L.K.E.R feelings everytime i stray randomly off the road. Either way, good game and it'll be even better with a few patches. Personally, i thought gothic3 was rather good. Unfortunately it didn't manage to surpass its prequels (by a long shot), and the story-side was partially lacking in depth, but it was still a satisfying experience which is way more than i can say of the vast majority of modern games.
Next to performance issues, the only bugs i've encountered on my initial (unpatched) playthrough were rather minor ones like wild boars on steroids etc. The latest patch fixed them all for me, and i didn't have any trouble with the game from then on. As for two worlds, it didn't look very appealing to begin with, and many (usually) credible people i know reviewed it negatively, so i didn't even bother trying it out myself. I bought gothic 3 for my pc and it is one of the buggiest games ever and the support from Joood is crap, they still havnt released a real patch to fix the majority of bugs. I bought Two Worlds for my xbox 360 and gues what, Its the like the same crap but with a horse. I expected better from an xbox 360 game but clearly, they can be crap too.  _______________ I was a child when I joined the JA...scary. |
