Very weird PC problems | |

not long ago very weird things started to happen.
at first i noticed that my hdd isnt connected. so i shut down my pc, boot it again and its connected. however the same thing happened like 3 times already. this cant be some kind of unluck. shit doesnt end there however. my mouse doubleclicks randomly. what else? i dunno maybe its just coincidence, but today my keyboard's numlock ~lamp was all flickering and the keyboard itself didnt work for like a minute. wth is happening? _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. Well I'm not gunna have you open up your mouse and wast time, possibly destroying it anyway if you slip and impale something so just go get a new mouse. If you have an old ball mouse, get a laser one. But also, if your PC has any of the following symptoms your power supply is probably failing, ALWAYS CHECK ALL CABLES ARE PLUGGED IN BEFORE CHECKING FOR THIS STUFF!!!:
1. Random reboots 2. Just won't power on ----------- P.S. To ANYONE who reads this, get a UPS (It protects against power drops, like brown or blackouts and it protects against surges). Online UPS is the more expensive, but more effective kind. Batt needs replacement often. Good for a computer w/ a small power supply An Offline UPS is good for those big beefy power supplied computers, cuz it takes about 2 miliseconds for the thing to switch to battery power. Battery doesn't need replacement often. So yeaaaa... keep that PC of yours safe! This comment was edited by thedestroyer on Oct 19 2007 10:44pm. |

hmmm been awhile since hdd disconnection happened.
now the only problem i have is double clicking mouse lol Quote: If its not spyware then I think it might be the powersupply acting up, a large majority of pc faults fall down to the powersupply.
- Zeke. hmm that hdd worked just fine for like 2 months... so that hdd thing i was talking about looks pretty random to me. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. If it isn't, I'd try to try safemode and if it still happens then restore point to when it didn't happen. If neither of those work, then it is likely that you either have a very persistent virus or a hardware issue. _______________ "Deos fortioribus adesse." |
