That's right. My friends and I are developing a roleplaying game with strong Dungeons & Dragons influence. It's text-based and, while there is levelling involved, it's mostly to get you used to using the skills and spells. My friend -- who I admit is crazy good at levelling -- got one of his characters to level 100 in six hours.
For those of you that are interested, but not familiar with text-based games (and for those of you who are, this is a MUD), you need a client to connect to it. A client can be found here. The game is just starting back up after five years of dormancy, so if there aren't many people on, don't be too worried. It's just a matter of time. Type "ooc your-message-here" to talk and "ooc history" to see a list of recent messages on the OOC (out of character) channel. Currently the only players with characters are highly experienced and will be glad to help you out and teach you things, so join up if you're interested in good medieval roleplay! (note: as we are currently in development, it will still be a few weeks before our main storyline is put into development, so roleplay you do now may have to be retconned later, but having experience will give you quite an edge!)
