Is their away I can have a religious theme(s) in my stories without going to deeply in religious exposition and page filler? I want religion in my story, I just have not the knowledge or the time to devote to research at the present time. _______________ LJA |

Remember that it's science fiction. Making your characters muslim or christian wouldn't be very believable, nor would making your story an overtly religious one. Do your research. Religion is a big thing. People take their worship of the grand imaginary friend seriously. Translate that into your work. And go read the dune series. Well that is what I'm trying to do. I am looking the simiarlies and differences between chirstian and Islamic ways of thinking in relation to god. I will need to look at the Jewish teachings about god, when I have time. the this religion will be called the religion of the One (meaning god) or it is called the abrahamic religion.

How about you come up with your own religions and develop them slowly as you progress with the storyline?
