I'm not really into the Olympics for the most part, but I love watching swimming, beach volleyball and basketball. Anyways, I was absolutely amazed when I saw the men's 4x100 free relay! France and the US were so close and Lezak was unbelievable in the last half of his swim.

Oh, is he? I had never noticed him to be very arrogant. Alain Bernard was arrogant, but Phelps? Sure he's fiercely competitive and his unopposed force in the Olympics might give off a little air of arrogance around him, but he has come off as nothing short of humble to me.
I like him because he is an extremely passionate and dedicated swimmer. Like him or not, it's hard not to respect somebody who is so focused in their craft that they achieve unprecedented status with it. And that's 8 gold for Phelps; 7 world records + 1 Olympic record.
