Follow-up to my other post: what do you guys think is the most anticipated game release in the next few years (not what you're personally waiting for, what's got the most hype). I know I've got two Blizzard games on the poll, but they are 10-year-later installments in two of the most popular game franchises ever.

I personally think Metal Gear 4 eclipses all the games mentioned above, even if I am looking forward to waving my wii controller like a maniac with the force unleashed. _______________ <MaherSenatu> guh... you are just... Well, I would have said Spore based purely on the hype, but for me it was a huge disappiontment. It's such a shallow game. 
I'm greatly looking forward to Tom Clancy's HAWX. I'll be getting a 360 just to play it.  |

Fable II. I've tried to keep my expectations lowish, but the more they reveal the more I look forward to October 24th heh.
Other than that... Well Bioware are set to announce their big MMORPG at some point, and i've heard rumours it could get a late '09/10 release even. I think any KotOR game, even if it -has- turned to the 'dark side' of gaming (MMOG's  ) is greatly anticipated at this point.

Never mind my last post mirrors edge is now the second. Half life 2 episode 3 or half life 3. whatever. I just finished half life 2 episode two. The ending moved me to tears. |

man i didnt think anyone else was looking forward to mirror's edge but me, hell that game looks impressive. Also prototype looks quite good too.

The original StarCraft was my religion for a while.
If you get online now it's all newbie maps with unlimited resources and completely flat terrain. WC3 pretty much solved this problem with its matching system, but WC3 was all about leveling up your hero, which was extremely lame. I hope SC2 does better. I'm told Force Unleashed will not be released for PC, so even though it looks great, it's not on my list. starcraft 2 will be loved by rts fans. along with a probably insanely cool map editor it will live for lots of years to come.
diablo 3 - looking for this one myself, should be great, small number of available classes scares me tho. spore - from a creature creator i now imagine that its gonna be an epicfail. i expected something atleast as serious as sims2. it looked like a game for 6 years old kids tho :x it doesnt feel that the game will have any depth or something. force unleashed - good graphics, good physics... but apart from that? what is it? a generic force whore arcade game. i also heard its for consoles only = fail. what does TJA need? a pc game with deep sabering system. something like... star wars: saber unleashed lol other games? Mirror's Edge looks ok. probably wont have much replay value, but will be fun while it lasts... like Dark Messiah. In a couple of years tho... i guess im waiting for guild wars 2 _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february.
