you guys might know this
I'm trying to hook up my wireless internet to my laptop. when I find the internet my comp is hooked up to it says I need the pass key or whatever. I figured that since I already have the same internet for my wired computer I should be able to find the password somewhere in my internet panel. is this true or will I have to spend money to buy this code? _______________ none This post was edited by none on Nov 08 2008 08:08pm. |

pron got your pewt down?
ps: your wireless is calling for a wireless encryption key. you have to log into the router/modem/whatever your gatewaying through, and enter this information into your lappy's wireless options. This comment was edited by MOTREC on Nov 13 2008 09:58pm. |

You might have to call your ISP to double check. An additional wireless card might be required or they just tell you the password. _______________ "Deos fortioribus adesse." |

Are you using your internal wireless modem? Usually you will end up attempting to connect to a private network through that. _______________ "Deos fortioribus adesse." |
