you guys might know this
I'm trying to hook up my wireless internet to my laptop. when I find the internet my comp is hooked up to it says I need the pass key or whatever. I figured that since I already have the same internet for my wired computer I should be able to find the password somewhere in my internet panel. is this true or will I have to spend money to buy this code?

ps: your wireless is calling for a wireless encryption key. you have to log into the router/modem/whatever your gatewaying through, and enter this information into your lappy's wireless options.

You might have to call your ISP to double check. An additional wireless card might be required or they just tell you the password.

Are you using your internal wireless modem? Usually you will end up attempting to connect to a private network through that.
