Thought this would be a good post to find out what everyone is up to thesedays? Just a light-hearted 'fun' post really. Personally, i'm spending the summer 'saving' for my 3rd (and final) year of my University degree - working part time 'flexi' hours at work (as many as I can!) whilst (hopefully) taking some flying lessons imminently - pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a pilot!
Ultimately, I'd love to go into marketing (if anyone can give me any advice/information regarding marketing, this would be appreciated - Whats it like? Whats your working hours like? Career prospects etc?) in aviation in the hope that a flight company would (perhaps) offer me a part sponsorhip deal with respect to gaining a commercial pilots license! What about you guys? Hope you're all well! Looks like we're in for a hot summer here in the UK! Cheerio, Kenwan (David) What about everyone else?  |

I've been writing a novel. At the time of this writing, I've written 381 pages so far. I hope to get another 119 pages in or so (at this rate it's probably going to be over 500 because I still have a lot I need to write about) and I hope to get published. 
When I'm not flaunting myself like a harlot irl and I can spare time on the computer I get together with my epic semi-limp triumvirate that I had gotten together from Moon Guard on WoW (US). We had a lot more people in our group until we decided (more like gradually and finally became aware of) that WoW sucks. Some people in our group vanished, others were like, "HOW DARE YOU UTTER YOUR BLASPHEMIES ABOUT MY SOUL, WORLD OF WARCRAFT," and others pissed me off so I eradicated them from the face of existence. Then we played NWN2 together, playing the OC and MotB. After that us three went to WAR. After about a month I realized that no MMO out there at this point in time is worth spending $15/month for so two of us quit and the third hovered around a bit and almost completely cut off contact until I was like "BITCHHH" and she was like "omg sorry i'm so spacey" and realized, too, that she wasn't really FEELING IT so she quit WAR too. We tried playing NWN2: SoZ but the game is just so high-maintenance and it took us 6 months to ever get anywhere with it because our playing time was so stretched out; we actually ended up stopping (I'm actually the only one that finished it and it's because I did it solo, and it just made me mad because I finished the whole thing in ONE DAY.  ) In the middles of all those we would play WC3.
We planned on playing the Baldur's Gates and IWDs together but the old Infinity engine has archaic methods of multiplayer and I could only play BG with ONE of them for so long until, for some reason, connectivity gradually just stopped working. I wanted to try to drag them into the Diablo series in preparation for some Diablo III. We would have done that if the other two could see each other in-game. Fortunately one of them had already played the game long ago so I'll hopefully finish Diablo at some point with the one that hasn't played it yet and then we'll meet up in D2. A couple days ago I got them to buy Guild Wars (now they have the trilogy and I only have Prophecies and Factions) and we've been playing through that. Now I actually have a reason to play GW after having it for literally years and years. Previously I would just play it solo for an hour or so and then stop and never touch it for about 6 months or so. Then the cycle would repeat. And actually last night I got them to acquire JK3 so I'll have to dust off my old CD and get my sex on, yo. _______________ slorp |
