I don't have either. I probably will get them. Steam has a way of making me buy things. I've played CIV 4 and 3 before, 3 more than 4, and I enjoyed them thoroughly. I don't mind and don't really see why it would be a bad idea.
But yeah, I used to play l4d/2 a lot back in the days and was therefore online a lot. Now I usually hang out on b.net because of Starcraft2 aka the best game ever made, but I do love playing Civ4 and (more recently) Magicka as well.
