As always, the JA is a training community open to anyone whom wishes to learn or help others learn and has always been "clan neutral", many of our Students and even Teachers have belonged to various different clans in the past.

If you were signed up on the website you automatically join. Whoop whoop KotOR 2 reference for the EU server.
Triple whoop for the KotOR (comics) reference for the US server come to that. Edit: The EU guild is currently the 11th largest on the server members wise with 68. The largest for comparison has 122. Looks like there will still be plenty of recruiting to do come launch. We also have one of, if not thee, most 'Star Warsy' name in that top 12. Currently? Speaking for myself we'll support PVP as much as possible, actively get involved with warzones and open world and such, but primarily for funzies. This isn't going to be a hardcore PVP type of thing.
That said all involved are looking into the possibility of more serious PVPing, I'm not sure how many Aurochs are interested in TOR for them to have involvement with the different TJA guilds but that's one idea. It all depends on the demand I think and certainly won't be a priority early on. As I understand it there is a higher chance if it's a mutual ally, so you may want to speak to Roab about adding us as an ally or getting someone else to ask about it but you don't have much time.

It's probably worth pointing out that if anyone is still considering applying then they had best do it really quick as they have to be okayed by the guild leader by Friday, 2 December 2011, 23:59 CST (Saturday, 3 December 2011, 05:59 GMT). I am guessing we won't know until after the 2nd or 3rd, but early guild registration will be closed by then.
I would highly suggest that any US players who preordered the game to register with the US guild now, as it will make things a lot smoother with the game's release. |

When the guilds are set up you can specify EU/US and PVP/RP/PVE etc. but whilst they will try to put you on an appropriate server (with your allies and adversaries as well) they cannot guarantee it. It's a shame that they don't do guilds (and really how could you) like they do platoons in BF3. You can have a primary but be part of many other Platoons. It'd make picking what to do a whole lot easier .
I'm just wrapping up my first beta testing weekend (found out it's up until 12am tonight, so there's a chance for some more playtime after work) and I have to say the game is amazing! I was SUPER hesitant about it going into this (my lack of energy with MMOs in general lately) and I was thoroughly impressed with everything they showed off. It definitely has me contemplating picking this up Day 1. Hope to see you all out there! I agree it's nice to see the change and it's nice to be apart of the change too, I just wish we embraced all the other sw titles like battlefront, empire of war, tie fighters, republic commando.
