Hey guys, I'm in the market for a new keyboard and mouse.
I want to limit my budget to around £80, and I'm kind of useless at this stuff. Was looking at the Cyborg RAT 3 for my mouse choice, but I'm stumped on the keyboard. Anyway, any help would be appreciated! Thanks! |

Generally I agree with Masta and just get the basics. It is nice having the extra buttons on the keyboard you can bind things to though. Macro keys and multimedia keys are essential, I swear by them. Masta's right though, I think I'm going to cut my budget to about £30-40 as I actually quite fancy a backlit keyboard. |

If you like FPS then I would splurge on the mouse, if it's for RTS or MMO I would splurge for the keyboard.

£80 for a keyboard and a mouse? Protip: spend 10 on both, rest on games or keep it for a new graphics card or whatever. Gear does not play the game for you.

As for keyboard, ive always been a fan of the Logitech G series of keyboards (have the G510 atm), but ive been hearing awesome things bout the Razer Blackwidow mechanical. _______________ Come on now, every Generation X boy wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Is it because he was a whiney farm boy from some backwater hack planet? No, it's because he was a FREAKING JEDI. He could block lasers with his lightsaber. He could levitate droids & rocks & crap with his mind. Come on, he choked two pig dudes with just a simple gesture. He cut off Darth Vader's hand and kicked him down a flight of stairs.
