Well, i'm going to school tommorow, on a SATURDAY! Our school is the ONLY one in the country to do this once a year! Now i have to ask: Isnt that illegal in ANY way? My mom found out (thanks a lot, stupid little brother:mad and now i HAVE to go to school tommorow... So is there ANYTHING the SLIGHTEST illegal about that? C'mon! Please? They are robbing my freedom here... They might make it a 'once a MONTH' thing... I just KNOW that i will hit SOMEBODY hard over the head tommorow, and it might be a teacher! Man, my school sucks So is there ANYTHING AT ALL illegal about this? _______________ Not back yet... I'll come one day, I hope... The madman formerly (and still) known as Tito! The school here in the US is a joke. If you talk to the average HS grad around here, they can barely read or write. It's quite sad really. Edinburgh has some of the nicest schools holiday-wise. The kids over here get half days every friday (home at around 12pm)...Mega holidays at Easter, special occassions etc etc. There was a fare at my school when I was 16, and I went to check it out. The feeling of being in a school on a Saturday morning made me want to scream. |

w00t! College! I go noon to 3:15, and no school on Fridays at all! This fall, I go 9 a.m. to 11 on some days, noon to 3:15 on others! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. Look, I have school EVERY Saturday until 5:00pm, and on normal days until 3:10pm. Don't complain until you've been to a school which uses and education method half a mellinium old, like mine does. Study, study, study! Life sucks. Well, here's a really stupid thing combined to it: we dont have school on thursday, but we do have on friday! And there's not even a reason, the GODDAMNED teachers just felt like having a day of there... Why not cancel this SATURDAY for a thursday? would work for me... Six days of school in one week is to much! I'm gonna go over to school with a blanket, a pillow, and some nightclothes (i'll find something, since i dont have any), and then i'll pretend to sleep all the time tommorow! you know my high school had a number of days they were allowed to cancel. And once those were used up they would add another day on the end of the school year. If for some reason we had to cancel school because of a team making it to state finals or something, we would end up losing a day on holidays, usually the day after easter.
