Cats are good. I had this twenty-pound pure black cat that acted like a dog. He would come when you called him, he would walk up to you and plop down on his back waiting for you to rub his belly, and he loved rough housing. Most cats don't like that sort of thing. Anyway he killed a rather large rattlesnake which could have bitten any one of my family members. He got bit in the process but amazingly he survived. What a tough guy. I was very sad when he died of kidney failure 2 years later. I'm sure he was in great pain but when I sat by his side towards the end he still used part of his energy to purr. He just wanted to let me know that he loved me. Man, that was so hard I don’t think I will ever own another pet in my life. _______________ One of the Belouve boys |

vaughn, you little sister only counts as a pet if you keep her in a cage in the basment, thats how my family got out of the child abuse thingy, i wasnt a child, i was the family pet! .... just kidding anyway, i agree with acey, cats are awsome. they are also rather thoughtful if they like you. one of my cats actually went to the trouble of killing a large (i mean big) rabbit, jumping it through our living room window (not an easy feat to begin with, much less with a large animal in your mouth). he then brought it to the kitchen cutting board and systematically carved it up so that when we woke up that morning breakfast would be ready.... of course, im sure it just didnt have the time to cook the blasted thing.... and then there all the times when i needed a neck warmer. you can wear cats as scarfs if you dont mind a few scars on your shoulders (or if your wearing a thick sweater). and they also make good foot warmers. in short; the cat is really the best multi-purpose animal there is (of those that can sleep in ones sock drawer to keep them warm for those harsh winter mornings). fav pet, id have to say my little sister jk, my teddy bear (yes, i have one. im not afraid to say it. He's been around the world with me (no, i didnt bring him to Japan)). WEll, if he don count, then itd ahve to be dogs. Sorry, cats attack me with their claws Edit: Acey, you forgot. Rodents have insane teeth. I had a guinney pig (which rocked), but she had insane sharp teeth. When we wanted to play with her, well, shed bite us; and it hurt alot. behind a cats lovely exterior lives the heart of a real killer. you don't catch dogs killing birds and mice, and especially with mice. One cat i had was was just watching. it meowed at me, went under the house, took out this small dead mouse and started playing with it.. it would hold it between it's front paws, lean up slightly it's back legs and throw the mouse and pouce it again. i was watching it do this non stop for about 15 minutes, before it came and purred up against my leg. plus what other household animal (not including reptiles and serpents) have claws as sharp as them, when i was little i'd have scratches on my hands and arm from just playing with cats. _______________ .Lag Bro to Xanatos. I like cats, especially tigers. They're so cool looking. I only dog I like better than any animal, my aging dog Bear (as in Teddy, not Grizzly). YOU HEARTLESS SON OF MOTHERLESSGOAT!!!! .... uh, just kidding . however, i did read a study on the amount of care required to keep a pet, cats are actually considered one of the easiest to care for, especially if you have one of those nifty auto changing litterboxes.... (one of these days ill get one for my three cats) besides, they feed themselves if you have a rodent problem... assuming they dont just eat the head an then shred the rest in the kitchen for your breakfast... ..........i like cats......i have 3......sept one is like the perfect version of a sterotype scardy cat.........another is like a sumo wrestler(all he does is sleep and eat and he is GIGANTIC).......and then my last cat is a mixture between a horse and a dog......................... i have strange pets _______________ If you were to stab me in the heart, i would apologize for bleeding on your shirt. -Love may not make the world go round, instead it makes the whole ride worthwhile. |
