Ok there are so many poeple who go out in the world trying to find this awnser out. Well i found it out in the 4th grade after i had heard this question. It had come to my mind very fast. And so the meaning of life is........(little drumming sounds)..................The meaning of life is to live.(yes it is that easy) _______________ If you were to stab me in the heart, i would apologize for bleeding on your shirt. -Love may not make the world go round, instead it makes the whole ride worthwhile. |

lol @ fizz! The best explaination of what the meaning of life is at the end of the movie, Dogma. The main character asks God (played by Alanis Morrisette) what the meaning of life is. God just reaches out and honks her nose. You can take that to mean what you want. actually going all "christian" on everyone isnt neccesarily a bad idea. on the one hand, it would most likely degrade the entire argument inot a dbate over the truth claims and values of the different religions of the world, on the other hand it greatly broadens the possibility for argument. for example: you cant say that the purpose to life is to serve god unless you assert that god exists, this requires prescribing to or assuming in the truth of a certain religion. if the meaning of life is enlitenment then again you would have to assume that a particular way of thought is true and that most others are false. however, as stated before this could very easily just turn into a religious debate, so if anyone decides to bring religion into try to keep to it civil and to the point. acey, that is what the meaning od death is...... ok let me explain the this meaning of life thing: Ok, we truly dont have ne purpose of being on this planet, if u put evolution into this then all it was there for is to occupy our lives till we die. Everything we have in our lives is just there to occupy us till we die. Those who created something or made a technological advancment did it to occupy their life, i say this because most great inventors died soon after the invented something great. one argument is we were put here to destroy each other, i say that is human nature not what the meaning of life is. Reflect on what i have said and post something if u want to keep going on with this subject.
