I hope not to burst your bubble koushka, but you have a rude awakening about to happen to you. That by the people, and for the people concept is truly just propaganda. America was founded truly by land and business owners who simply were tired of being taken advantage of by the british government. So they revolted. The freedoms of the individual citizen have always been secondary to business and the concept of free enterprise. In essence, America was created to give a few outcasts a wide open space to make a new powerbase for them to exploit. The only real power in america is the dollar. Don't spend it on music if you don't like the way record companies do business. _______________ Death is only the beginning. |

You know a few years i thought the world was great.I was a kid not a care.But the older i get the more pissed off i get and the more reality seeps through.Things like The Omagh boming,september 11,Iraq amongst others have knocked my world.But above all my thoughts of this world im an Idealist.Because thats what we should and must dream for.The world only gets messed up when we alow it to when we stop and let tihngs pass.We forget the basis of modern civilized goverments--These are our goverments.And i know this is a bit far off topic but this is my general opinion of the world and this topic just gave me a chance to say it. _______________ The real question is not whether machines think but whether men do. I have been reading a lot in the news about these MPAA bills. How they are going around and actually writing the laws themselves and presenting it to legislatures. This has me vomiting. America is supposed to be for the people, since when did a business ever rule on the side of people and we are letting them make the laws, it is tragic and horribly terrifying. The representatives have no clue what it says due to the technical nature of it. They go by what they here from the association which is totally biased. I mean hello when will people think to look at both sides. Oh and when will a representative ever sit and listen to our voice, when we have a fist full of cash. Sorry just needed to vent. I's getting to the point where I can't take a piss w/o violating someone's intellectual property rights or walk down the street w/o the permission of the MPAA/RIAA. All this legislation will hopefully cause a huge wonderful backlash against these @$$holes. You can't keep alienating your customer base like this. Maybe the business model will change, but that's doubtful because these jokers have enough money to buy laws and lawyers to sue individual kids into oblivion. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |
