Texas,Massachsettes,South Carolina,Florida,Gorgia,Alaska,Tennesssee and Colorado have passed a law banning technology that "conceal from a communication service provider..the existence or place of origin or destination of any communication" Unless the perposals changed us guys could be breaking the law-just to safegaurd our data. No because they should be able to locate where you are hacking them from. You read it sort of wrong Vaughn. The point is that it makes it illegal for you to mask where you are coming from. So that makes it illegal for a hacker to hide the location he is hacking from. The idea is to be able to locate people that do that. I think this is the result of uninformed legislators trying to crack down on SPAM and "hackers". Unfortunately the law is so broad is that it makes NAT illegal. Whoops! _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |
