Well, Kenshin is on Cartoon Network at 5:30 p.m. my time (er, GMT -6 ???). I watched an episode today, pretty sweet. I think they're on about 17 or 18 right now (I know the episode, it's one of Yahiko's first fights, to defend Tsubame). They are showing them in order, which is great. You definately want to tune in before Episode 25 or so. It gets uber-cool then. So, people that can see Cartoon Network can see it there. I've yet to see how they hadle some of the bloodier stuff, but, eh. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. That's only a slogan, and is as misleading as slogans always are. seing how the OAV's arent called Rurouni- Kenshin the Kenshin OAV is better than the series. Period Neway, we all love Tomoe, even though karou is cooler, Yahiko... Sanosuke.... yes. Yes, the series could use some touching up. I do think that it got better over time, as well as being a superb piece of work for the time it was out (1995 it started, right?) The story wa captivating as well, but I feel the same for Beserk, maybe. Kenshin had me hooked a lot more than Beserk. But the OVAs send Kenshin to the top. Most of you are talking about how great Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal was (the prequel OVA). But if you have seen the OVA that is set 15 years AFTER the last episode in the series...Samurai X: Reflections... Then it all comes together. And you cannot deny that Kenshin rules all. Go. See. The OVA's are brilliant! The series are way cool, but I like evangelion more... I think. That show just moved me... When it comes to the Kenshin movie, I'm not quite sure how I feel. It lacked some action-wise, (except for the end fight, which ROCKED) but, of course, that's not all there is to Kenshin. Not sure if I liked it or not, though. yeh im not a tv man myself, i myself hate the crappy animation of anime (no offence just my opinion) i tend not watch tv due to it telling me what i want. I also hate Coke due to them taking my line 'You Know You Want It' bastards. _______________ For every pause i was nearly garenteed time to speak. wow, talking to yourself, you must be lonly.... ok, for OVAs i have yet to see anything better than kenshin, it just plain kisses the armadillo... the series, however, has some decent competition, but even then im not sure anything can beat it.... maybe i just need to watch more anime.... yeah thats it |
