I've been going through some of my old video tapes from the 80s. It's funny to see a lot of the videos and commercials (when I forgot to pause the VCR, it was a top-loading VCR!). Anyone remember a song called Dog Police? I cracked up when I saw it again! It was the winner of MTV's Basement Tapes contest. On the tape, I have a lot of stand-up comedians. I didn't see Flight of the Navigator. But I had a LOT of pairs of jams. I think that's the only type of shorts I would wear in the summer, and they were all ugly!!! Ahhhhh....peer pressure! What about parachute pants? I had 4 pairs, red, black, white and teal. Does anyone remember a cartoon from the 80s called Battle of the Planets? The main characters were the G-Force. There were five of them and they had kind of a bird thing going on. Their ship was called the Phoenix. I think the characters names were: Mark, Jason, Princess, Tiny and Keyop. My friend Anthony and I would play G-Force on the playground and the big jungle-gym was the Phoenix. I may have been born in the late 80s, but I like Transformers, man. I'm not talking about the new ones either. The old Transformers will always rule! ...especially the movie. I saw plenty of the old He-Man, but I can't remember much of it. Cartoon Network is showing the old GI-Joe late Saturday nights.
