Hey I'm new here and would just like to know how you go about making skins? Is there a program or some tools I can download? Thanks in advance for any help.

I get a stupid error, when I load a model in MODView. It says "Filesystem call made without initialization." Help me, please!

You can download the JK2 editing tools packages. They have many tools, including a few for skinning and modelling. They also have some tuturials in them for some of the stuff.

After that, you need a text editing program, such as notepad (provided on windows machines). You also need some kind of image editing program. The most popular for graphics work is either Jasc's Paint Shop Pro, or Adobe Photoshop
