Well i know most of you have cable connections and play at less than 180 ping. but what about your poor fellows on 56k connection. you think " oohh..sorry, that's gotta suck." but you see, your wrong there. Having Lag as it's called, is mearly a handicap we have to make us at the same level as you. just the other day, my 400 ping spiked up to 750, and i felt it big time. even on that i was still dueling darth mobility. and got him down to 14 and 34 health, i know for a fact he is a good player. but with that lag, my hits don't attack when i'm next to him. that's why lag makes your the elite. I myself have to determine my opponents attack half a second before he does and attack then, where he is going to be. so i know your moves way before you do. lets do the math, say i'm having a good day and my ping is at 450. and i'm fighting someone with a ping at 50...now..i beat them. what if we were to play on the same server with exactly the same ping. if you do it correct. you will see that i will be 9 times better. heh...so beware the time when i gain cable. the curtains will reviel a new Elite group... Heh, lag can really make you a better player. I remember the times when Iori had a crap dial up modem. I've beaten him 19 out of 20, even when he had 200 shield and i none. Now he's gotten broad band and we are almost equal. Sometimes he is better sometimes me. _______________ Falling from heaven is not as painfull, as surviving the impact. |
