personly im all for freedom of speech, but what he said was just silly and stupid.
no one can agree with the deaths of any human being, so yes do not agree with the original post and refuse to rejoice with it, but do not conpare the deaths of others as a justfication for you agument. thats my view on him not the FoS laws _______________ Sit vis nobiscum. |

I agree with Aeth. I also think Holger Voss is guilty of the crime “glorification of a criminal act.” I think he should be more careful when posting. The attack on the world trade center was a criminal act, but the “alleged murders of thousands of Taleban fighters” was not a proven event. So the Engine_of_Aggression guy would not be glorifying a criminal act.

of course that's wrong, but it doesn't give anyone the right to take away thousands of lives.

I actually agree with him. well, i dont know anything about the laws that come to use then... but my personal opinion is that you have no 100% freedom of speech.
see, what would happen if a newspaper would write how much they loved the ossam bin laden? that could be the opinion of the whole newspaper, but i'm pretty sure that the governement would let them continue. after all you just could insult anybody and claim your freedom of speech. come on, thats ridicolous 
but i heared of something an amercian woman put her cat into a microwave. the cat died, the woman sued the fabricator and wanted to have several million dolalrs, because there were no sign that you couldnt put a cat in the microwave. and she WON!!! that is just ridicolous! 
back to your specific case, kit: i think this guy is one of the short minded peeps that go around in forums and tell how evil the USA is, and how much they like terrorists. there are actually lots of idiots around in the internet, who have no idea of what they're talking and just want some attetion.  _______________ Aeth S'kray *June 2002 +September 2003 |

The bad part about living in a "free" society is that you have to take the good with the bad. That guy has every right to voice his opinion on 9/11, no matter what the German govt or the 9/11 families or whoever may think about it. Actually you can say a racist comment if you really want to. Just look at Farrakahn(sp?) He is practically as racist as any KKK member. Its when you take your rights and they infringe upon anothers rights then you violate the Bill of Rights in the US. For freedom of speech that would be defamation, Libel in print and slander when spoken. Freedom of speach is a beautiful thing but we should not abuse it.The last clause of the bill of human rights thing basically stats dont abuse the bill.For example you cant say a racist comment then say your using your freedom of speach
i dont know if this has anything to do with it (didnt see story)but its important to remember when using the old FReedom of speach.
