the matrix is the world and the universr that we live in. the matrix has gone through history 6 times and everytime the arcitech has had to improve on it. changing when certain things happen, who dies, who lives. once the matrix is created humans are pluged into it to be harvested for body heat. this heat is used by the machines to live. the matrix is actually a pretty sweet deal because we destroyed our own planet, and we still get to live in it  _______________ "this is Icco.
