Hey Guys, just got dumped by a girl after a week. She said she wasn't in love with me anymore. Damn, and she knew how much I loved her. After a week she suddenly doesn't love me anymore. well, just look around - most ppl just pick up the first chick that is around and looks cute, and most stay together as a couple for some time - this will most likely not hold very long. On the other hand, you do have the ability, just as the girls do, to chose a girl, and if you're lucky, she'll chose you, too. It might sound as cheesy as sin but love is not a noun. It is a verb. The emotion experienced with love can change. This is because it is actually just simple infatuation. Love can be defined as laying yourself down for the other person, regardless of your own wants or desires. This can be demonstrated in the extremes of literally dying for the other person or washing the dishes because you know it would make her happy and feel appreciated. And it can be demonstrated by anything in between. So I do not offer advice which I know from experience is not what you TRULY want or need. You want to voice your thoughts and hurts. So go ahead and do that. Just remember that if you base your life and one day a future marriage upon the "feelings" of love you are in for pain and disappointment. Feelings are easy to attain but are fickle and change all the time. Thank you guys. Cath, that was the thing she said to me too. It's just so damn hard. And I know that there'll be others. But to be really childish "I want HER". BUt I know that's not the way of love. It has to be from two sides. BUt why has love got to be so cruel as to change it so fast. luckily, she and me can still get along fine. And I heard from her friend that there might be a chance she'll fall in love again. I'll not set my hopes for it. Though I'll stay in love with her some time I think. yeah, yeah, I've experienced something very similar, a few years ago, though.... she was VERY special to me, too, but I still get sad everytime I think of her and what could have been, _could_ is the word, though. It was not meant to be - and there is nothing you can do NOW.
