OK, the Dux lost. They're done. Their confidence is shot and NJ isn't gonna let up. I'd say there's a 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance they come back and win 4 games. me 2 billy, and Yeah i forgot about abeshire(can't spell it at all i appologize) I noticed he got a lot of playing time this year, which made me think that Roy (and yes it is pernounced Wah, not roy) was retireing. And i think its very sad to see him (the player not the person) leave. But he is pretty old so yeah Sad day for hockey is all i can say -Dice _______________ Dicemaster |

Though they got spanked last night, I think the Dux can win if they win 2morrow and get their confidence back. They went like 10 days without playing a game, and it showed in last nights game, lotsa rust! The Dux need to score first (so the Devs can't use the stupid trap) and Giggy needs to play like he has the whole playoffs. NJ is by far the more experienced team, which can make a difference. But they shouldn't underestimate the Dux. If they do, they lost! I'm rooting for the Dux, cuz they have 2 guys that have been in the league for like 15-20 years and have never won the cup (Steve Thomas and Adam Oates), and will probably retire in the next few years and may not get another chance as players. Yes, Patrick Roy is retiring (pr. Wah for those not in the know). I'll be honest, I don't like him at all. He's cocky and arrogant. But you can't argue that he's one of if not the best goalie to play the game (yes, even better than my precious Battlin' Billy Smith). Colorado should be OK in net, their backup, David Aebescher, did a good job in the games he played. But if he doesn't, the 'Lanche can always pick up a high-calibur goalie over the summer or during next season. They'll still be a powerhouse even without Roy (see Peter Forsberg, Joe Sakic, etc.). I honestly couldn't tell you whose going to win. But i think the Ducks, who have never made it to a confrence finals should win. I mean the gave detroit a 4 games sweep. thats not an easy task! However i'm really disappointed my fav team, the Colorado Avalanche didn't make it, o well maybe next year. Anyway i think since the ducks have never won it and the Devils have, GO DUCKS! *EDIT*Today is a very sad day for hockey. One of, if not the greatest goalie of all times, Patrick Roy is retiering. I really like the avalanche, but i'm not sure how well they can do without him. I'm not saying they need a great goalie, what i'm saying is they just need him, i think he probably had something to do with how well the team worked together. Anyways just thought i'd let all you true hockey fans know -SadDice *EDIT2* the paper actually says a "closed source says hes going to retire today" THis means it may not be true.
