Now this is a story all about how my
Life got flipped turned upside down

In west Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground is where I spent most of my days

And all shootin' some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys they were up to no good

I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said, "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air."

I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought, "Nah, forget it. Yo home to Bel-Air!"

I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabby yo holmes smell ya later
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air.

My cousin Walt got a cat stuck in his ass. True story, the whole fiasco ended up on the local news. He was sent to the emergency room, big embarassment for my realatives. The next week, he does it again. Different cat, same result, followed by another trip to the emergency room. So, I go in the mall the next week and I see him buying ANOTHER cat! I go up to him and say, "Jesus, Walt! You know you're going to get this one stuck in your ass too, why don't you knock it off?" He looks at me and says, "How the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?"
