This is just a follow up to Undead's monopoly which he would not share and he seems to be an ex student now...i found this website awhile ago but its in german and the translation is a bit funny... *************************** Video Tutorial There is no Tool with which one directly a demo to a Avi converting can. There is necessary for it several steps. Tutorial for converting a demo into a Avi file: Demo note ================ /g_synchronousClients 1 < === activates the synchronisation of the Clients /record DEMO NAME < === begins a noting the demo /g_synchronousClients === < the synchronisation that deactivates 0 Clients again /stop record < === stops the admission Demo into Screenshots convert ============================= After the demo was then taken up goes it you best again to the main menue, there enters their following instruction: /cl_avidemo 6 < === it ensures for the fact that Screenshots produces automatically become (the number indicates the FPS) You recognize that the instruction were accepted by the fact that the JK2 symbol in the main menue moves faster than before. If you a demo now start run off it more slowly than usual. That is however normal and sense of the thing. During this time Screenshots made then in the screen SHOT the files to find are. The demo is thus converted. If one would like to break the conversion off, one presses simply any key. Thus playing the demo is terminated and into the main menue jumps back. Here one enters "/cl_avidemo 0 ", around the automatic production of Screenshots to deactivate again. Now you need a program of which the Screenshots for a video join. Possibilities for it would be among other things. Video Mach or Virtual Dub. Windows Movie Maker places naturally also still another possibility there. yeah well, I used and online translator to translate it and just copy pasted it over.. considering sound I might have to chase it up..cause I think most of the sound files aren't stored within the actual demo, that's why its so small. All the demo does it record position of yours and other characters. similar to what is being sent over the net to other computers whom you are fighting. so the sounds are all still in the base folder..the Demo just refers to them and plays them _______________ .Lag Bro to Xanatos.
