I thought Reloaded was good. It did not have the same awesome impact as the first one, but still, I'd give it a 7-8 on my 10 scale. It became less philosophical, and when it did that, it kind of lost its... glimmer, its shine for me. The romantic stuff also... *Ahem*. I also borrowed the game from a friend, and played it both times through. The problem was that there was a couple plot fill ins here and there, but nothing major, IMO. The 50 minutes of the Animatrix that I saw did more for me, though. It was a fun experience figuring out all the moves, blowing up agents with the grenade launcher, and the sword, but personally, I think Konami could have done a better job. They probably needed more time at Shiny though, but I'll have to keep the experiance that I got. Revolutions does look good, though, and I'm hoping that it'll maybe make Reloaded look like it has more importance in this story (such as Episode III might do for the prequels). I still have some faith. Overall, as of right now, I give the series an 8. Reloaded was good, but could have been better...maybe. No movie is perfect, but... my expectations might have been to high for this movie.

lol you think they made the movie FOR US? do you know how much money they make on this? there wouldn't even be a matrix reloaded or revolutions if it wasn't for the success of the first one. this movie isn't FOR US. it's for them and their money. it's not like they do us a favor by making this movie. movie making is a form of art. and art is made by humans. and anything made by human hands gets critisized. it's natural, don't take it so hard :)

the game... whatever you do, DO NOT buy it. i mean, it might entertain you for five to ten minutes, but that's it. it's not worth its outrageous price tag, believe me. it's just another way of squeezing extra dough out of us...

I can't decide on an answer. You have better, worse, or the same...along with a few others, but I still can't decide. I loved the movie. I'm unlike most people. I actually pay attention to the GOOD parts about movies. If you can't do that, you won't like the movie. Another thing...people need to accept a change of pace. Sure, the movie was a lot different from the first, but I'm glad. I think the only thing I really didn't like about the movie was the sudden stop. I was ok with it though, because I knew it was going to happen. One more thing. Give the Wachowski Brothers a break. They spent years and millions of dollars on this movie FOR YOU and all you do is criticize it? Be happy that they wanted to originally release them a week apart. Warner Brothers advised them not to. Just cheer up.

Perilous, because I'm bound to get into fights I can't win. Drunken, because ALE! Angel, because a valkyrie is basically an angel of Odin.
I'm here to send you to the afterlife, but I can't gurantee I'll be stable enough to win a fight. :D

i think the matrix reloaded was a bit better, because of the fighting and the spesial effects, to judge the story is a bit difficult as it is a continuing story not episodes with different plots! like lotr i dont see them as three different film just a to be continuing films!

The story was good, but it envolved a lot of thinking. They used a lot of big words that some people couldn't understand and others couldn't keep up. It is a great movie though.

Sup,

Of course people dont like the 2nd, "because it isnt like the 1st one."

The 1st Matrix had an amazing storyline, and all that kick ass action was a bonus to the plot.

For reloaded the plot was only exsistant to create action scenes, if you consider there to be much of a plot at all.

smith got thrown around like a rag doll because Neo is the chosen one,in and out of the matrix as we all saw.of course thats why smith is so pissed and nUts at finding him.

BTw my opinion is every first good movie the second is never better, just the second one exsplained more,i love it! :)

The story of the first one is incredible, and when someone fights, you know they won't win.

Like when Morpheus fought an agent in the first, compared to the second. It was just waaay more fun to watch in the first.

Smith, my favourite character in the movie by FAR, was much better in the first one simply because he was a badass. In the second, he was getting thrown around like a rag doll.

I was dissappointed by a lot of stuff in the second movie.

Why should our government send our soldiers to foreign soil to protect freedom of speech, when our freedom of speech is being taking away everyday by the same government.

Give it time and reloaded will be the favourite so far, matrix 1 is favourite because we all seen it like 100 times. hehe u know wot i mean? i actually prefer the 2nd to the action and the first for the bringing of the story, the 2nd was neva to have a great strory as the action would carry it :)

LoL @ fizz

And I agree with DJ Sith about the high school level philosophy.
I believe it is the writer’s/director’s responsibility to make the audience care about the characters. The fact is I didn’t care what happened to any of the characters (except Seraph, he seemed nice)

Here are my extended thoughts on the movie:
