i can't get the script to work properly... or at all, for that matter and yes, i tried exec autoexec.cfg ... and it didn't work ![]() i have to exec ja_defaults, just to get it to work... but not really once i exec that, nothing else can be execced. such as, F11, it goes "can't exec jamenu.cfg" or DEL, "can't exec loaded.cfg" i can't exec autoexec.cfg again even! help! _______________ Well then. Just so you know, just because I don't post often doesn't mean I don't lurk this place multiple times every day... |

make sure all of the script files are in the BASE folder and no other folder.... done? good. (when you extract all files to the base folder it will ask you if you want to replace autoexec. say yes!)
now, open ja_defaults using notepad. make sure there is this line somewhere in there: bind DEL "exec loaded.cfg" ok after you set all your keys and bla bla... also don't forget to put your name into ja_info... run the game. in game, open console, type "/exec autoexec.cfg". some stuff should appear. now press del (DELETE key). it should write some more stuff... and the script should be loaded. if del doesn't work, try to type the command in manually: "/exec loaded.cfg" if this doesn't help you, then i don't know what will... ![]() _______________ make install -not war |
