You can fix bugs but can you fix content? I was beta tester too, and I really really like MMORPG's (played, EQ, UO, DaoC, Neocron, Earth & Beyond) and i did 3 other Betas so far but SWG just don't feel right for me. It all seems so unpolished and unfinished. Sure it's Beta but I rather wait a month or 2 before i buy it, so they get a grip on the servers. Anyone else heard that they forbid the export to non US countries? And that the only "legal" way would be to get your localized version? Which means we have to wait ages anyway? I can get hold of a US copy but i wonder if it would work with an European Credit Card... Hell I sooo hope this will turn out good.  _______________ Falling from heaven is not as painfull, as surviving the impact. |

a beta one week before release cant be considered a real beta anymore. they cant change anything anyway. server-crashs etc at the beginning are fine, but that close to release it should be done. and if not you shouldnt release the game. otherwise the customer has to beta test the game, while paying 15$ each month for that. sucks. _______________ Aeth S'kray *June 2002 +September 2003 |
