Okay, as some of you may or may not know, I'm working on editing the first Battle of the Academy so some people who don't follow the novels can get a chance to know what this is all about. It's a tiring process, especially since most of the scenes are intermixed and confused with console-action, hackers, Real-life (TM) and respawning. So..... The purpose of this post is to ask people to just post random battle scenes here, they don't have to be in a sequence or have anything to do with one another, I just need ideas because that's what the first novel is, basically, a bunch of fight scenes in different parts of the academy. Here's some stuff you might want to look at first: 1. The battles can take place as any one of the following: -A basic saber/gun battle with Jedi against invading Imperial and Reborn forces, in any part of the academy. (Sort of random fight scenes I can throw in here and there) -Story battles. Involves battles that progress the storyline, (eg. Exar Kun's fight against the Jedi) but you don't really have to do this. If you do, stay within story parameters, which are: The Battle of the Academy Jedi Academy Crystal The Virus (the dead Empress is a reincarnation of the Virus) Dark Crystal Zero's death Flamori 1 using the dark crystal to end the war The Evil Lianiotte (who is alive in this one) The original novel is at http://www.thejediacademy.net/forums_detail_page.php?f_id=259&f_position=153 2. Your post must keep in with the storyline, and none of the stuff mentioned above that messed up the first one. 3. I reserve the right to edit all posts, eg. names, places or anything else. 4. A man sits in the ruins of a masassi water shrine... He sat cross-legged on stone in front of a deep circular pool, bathed in beams of light that came down through holes in the ceiling. Vines had invaded the scene, winding their way into the smallest cracks and crannies of the columned structure. Mosaics depicting ceremonies of the ancient Masassi priests seemed to be locked in combat the with the vines. The man formed a cup with his hands and lifted them into the air. In turn, a sphere of liquid raised itself before him. He smiled slightly. He began to move his hands, sculpting and conducting. The water shifted and thinned here, thickened and twirled there. Images form in the water...they link together, rolling about faster and faster. Finally four figures hung mid-air. An older couple, a beautiful woman, and a baby. The man's smile disappeared. The four hung, motionless. Steam rose from them. The four bubbled until they evaporated into nothing. The lone figure stood and then fell to the ground kneeling. He ran his hands through his long bluish black hair, gripping the long strands in sorrow. Auryn Evenfall had always been on the fringe of the Jedi Academy. The council stood divided on his admission when he first came. Even after his acceptance, Auryn had always seemed a distant, cold man to the students, but the members of the council knew the caged rage that the light within him wrestled with. Evenfall kept no secrets from them...he had told them all of the dark secrets of his past. Yet they also sensed the capacity for great goodness in him. Because of his honesty and willingness to accept the leadership of Luke Skywalker, he was allowed to stay. The council knew that eventually Auryn would decide one way or the other, but trusted Skywalker to guide him onto the lighter path before he was claimed irretrievably by the darker. Auryn spent most of his time out in the forest, trying to heal the hurt within him. Skywalker dealt him formal training, and supported his wanderings alone in the forests of Yavin IV. Evenfall was a man scarred by pain and death, yet he fought these feelings. On the rare occasion, he lost. That had not happened since he came to the academy, but the threat always lingered. Evenfall was always at war with himself...a war between light and dark that until he came to Yavin IV, he feared the dark was destined to win. He still felt he was too dark to become a Knight, though there was now hope. So at this shrine Auryn knelt, vying to control the sorrow of lost family and the horrors he had wreaked in the name of vengeance. His muscles tensed visibly through his long black coat and then relaxed. His body sagged and the ordeal was over. "Interesssting. A bit...angry for a Jedi aren't you?" hissed a slithering voice somewhere behind him in the door of the shrine. Auryn's eyes slid open and he reached out with the force. Cold. He felt cold. Evenfall righted his tall frame, still not facing the voice behind him. "What winds have blown you here, child of darkness?" Auryn said in a low voice that sounded like it had seen too many light-years of bad road. The voice replied, sneering "You already know, friend. I can feel the anger inside you growing. Why don't you join ussss? You sseem like the type in our circles. See how the shadows bend to hide your face?" It was true. Light that should have illuminated his face was strangely gone. "The Force is a balance, Sith. I am that balance. Today I shall tip the scales into the light." Evenfall whirled, his bluish black hair and his coat tails fluttering behind him. Slitted reptillian eyes blinked at Auryn. A trandoshan. The Sith was a trandoshan in black robes. "Sssuch aggresssion," it said, igniting a red saber, "darknesss has already won you over. I can feel it stirring in you." "I have forsaken that path, though it calls to me. It calls you to join it this day." Auryn stretched the fingers on his right hand out to his side, as though preparing to quick-draw. The trandoshan sprang, lunging forward with its towering hulk. With a flash of his eyes and a tug of the force, Auryn's lightsaber leapt into his hand and blazed a white blue blade. The two beamswords hissed and popped as they connected. Auryn stepped back under the force. The trandoshan pressured, attempting to overpower the man and push the blades into him. Auryn pressed forward with the force, throwing the Sith against a column. The trandoshan spun himself up to his feet and was assaulted by three swift slices from a pursuing Auryn. He faltered to his knees, barely able to keep the saber up under the force of the blows. The scent of ozone hung in the air. Auryn went for the killing stab, spinning and thrusting backwards at the kneeling Sith. with incredible speed it parried the stab in a flash of light, whirling on its feet and connecting to Auryn's chin with the back of a clawed hand. Auryn teetered backwards and felt his throat close from an invisible grip. His body was hurtled against the high ceiling, spread eagled and powerless to move. His sword dropped lifeless to the ground. He groaned in agony. The Sith bared his fangs and closed his outstretched claw tighter, relishing the man's pain. The saber in the other claw was climbing towards him. Auryn felt himself slipping away. Images of his son, his wife, and his parents danced before his eyes. Incredible rage filled him, powering him. He pressed his arms forward with a feral cry. The trandoshan's eyes widened in fear. But then the soulfire faltered...an aura of calm overcame Evenfall. In this split second of emotional perplexion, Auryn's saber jumped into his hand. The Padawan of Skywalker fell with his burning saber pointed down. The Sith coiled and soared upwards to meet him. They collided mid-air, and the blue white blade disappeared into the trandoshan's head, and reappeared from its back. Evenfall landed, poised to react though he knew the cut was more than fatal. The ruby saber sputtered and went out. Auryn left the water shrine and tore off through the jungle, hair and coat whipping behind him. He did not know if he had killed the Sith in anger or not, but now was not the time for contemplation. The Jedi Academy would need all the depths of the Force it could bring to the table... It was dark, evening had fallen when Rei and her master were speeding back to their hideout on the planet of Sigma 02. They felt something, something that was unusual from their normal feelings. But if it was a disturbance, they could not tell. What do you think that wrong? Rei asked her master. I dont know he replied, there is only one way to find out. And while he said that he concentrated on the force and grealty increased his speed. It took Rei some more time to focus and do the same cause her training was far from complete. But after some time she caught up with her master. When they arrived at a town they saw something horrible. A massacere. Death, pain, agony, cries. It was the first time Rei ever experienced something like this. For a second she felt like her hart stopped beating but she let go of her emotions and was able to regain her senses. Her master was already taking care of the wounded, though there werent many. Rei made her way to a little girl who had suffered from severe burns. She placed her hand on the little girls shoulders and focussed. A little faint glowing green light came out of her hands and soon the wounds started to dissapear. At that time they heard someone shouting: Ah so my little trap has worked! I knew that killing a few miserable people would defenately get the attention of the Jedi! Haha you are all so weak that you care for others. Both Rei and her master quickly turned arround. There was a black cloaked and hooded stranger. But his power felt inmensly strong. Rei's master looked at her and knew she was affraid. Rei never fought a force user before in her life. Knowing so he spoke. Stranger identify yourself! The dark stranger looked at him and removed his hood. Rei felt her hart knocking in her throat. Under that hood was a misshaped face. Filled with scars. Not the most pretty at home Rei's master replied. Ha, you mock me with your rediculous instults Jedi, the stranger replied, My name is Bardiel! Not that it matters because you will not be able to tell the tale. While he said that, he used telekinesis to pull his saber from his belt to his hand. The short boost of energy was heard and a bright red saber ignited. He threw off his cloak and prepared for combat. Rei looked at her master and saw him do the same. Though he did it camly. He took his saber from his belt and again, the comforting sound of the saber activating. A green glow surrounded us and the soft and gentile buzzing of the saber was heard. ,,Rei'' do not fear him, fear will get you nowhere, fear leads to the dark side he said. Rei nodded her head and was quickly on her feet. She felt the cold iron in her hand as she took her saber. She pressed the activation button and for the third time there was the comforting sound of the saber igniting. A very bright and pretty blue light came of the saber. And the buzzing was now very clear to hear. Rei closed her eyes and focussed, more then she ever done it before. This is just like killing tuskans except this guy has force power she said to herself. As she thought that she saw Bardiel leaping of the rock he was standing on and landing about 20 feet in front of them. The face off began. They were standing there for about 5 seconds until bardiel opened the attack. A huge force was felt and rei was smashed backwards. Her master still stoot there, he was able to block the force blast. Haha bardiel shouted, that little girl of yours is no more then a simple padawan. You should know better then to let her face dark jedi! You would be surpised how good she is Rei's master replied. Meanwhile Rei was standing again. A small stroke of blood came running from her head. She felt it and noticed she had a small cut on her forehead. She ignored the pain though and was quickly back with her master. The fight commenced. Bardiel charged straight at us and the sound of the saber was heard even more. It was no longer comforting it was terrifying. Mattias (Rei's master) blocked the charge, a massive amount of flashes came off. And the sound of the two sabers connecting was very loud. Rei was paralized for a second but decided to go on the offensive too. She leaped over both of the fighting jedi and landed behind Bardiel. He quickly noticed it and also attacked Rei. She blocked he attack and immediatly attack on her account with a quick slash to his lefs. Bardiel noticed and turned his saber vertically so that it would be blocked. But, Mattias attacked him as well he slashed straight at his head but this had no effect, Bardiel was so quick that he also maneged to block that attack as well. He leaped straight on Rei and kicked her agains her chest. Rei heard something break and was soon overcome by a huge pain as she fell about 10 feet backwards. She was unable to get up again. Mattias and Bardiel kept on attacking eachother. The flashes and the sounds were amazing. Rei tried to get up and after some time she managed to on her knees. The pain was too much, there was no way she could fight like that. She closed her eyes and focussed. A green glow surrounded her and she felt the pain go away slightly. Yet she knew she wasnt strong enough to cure breaks. She tried to focus even harder and the pain slipped away far enough for her to be able to get up again. Meanwhile Mattias and Bardiel were still fighting. A right swing, A left swing. Downward lunge, An airial attack. It had no effect on eachother. Rei was on her feet again, though not very strong. She looked from her eyes completely different. It was shimmering in the color red. She knew that going into direct combat wasn't a good idea. Suddenly she saw bardiel attacking with a left swing and somehow breaking mattiasses defence. Bardiel quickly made use of this opening and managed to scratch his leg and his right arm (similar to Obi wan vs Dooku in ep2). Mattias fell down and his saber deactivated. Bardiel laughed, haha you pathetic Jedi how can you train someone if you arent even strong enough yourself? You should be banned from the jedi order. But then again, they dont have to bann you are gonna die soon. How does it feel to know that you are dying hahaha. Rei noticed something. The dark jedi was so caught up in his arrogance and sarcasm that he was no longer paying attention. Rei tried to move. Every single step hurted. The pain started moving from her legs to her chest and back. But she managed to get closer to the Dark Jedi. When she was less then 5 feet away, bardiel suddenly said. And now it is time for you to die. He activated his saber again and swinged it upwards. Rei knew she had to do something but her body was working against her. Suddenly she had an idea. She focussed on the force and felt her legs regain strenght again, She prepared herself and leaped straight at the dark jedi. During her jump he activated his saber. The blue light ignited and the sabers buzzing was heard again. Bardiel turned his face and saw a blue flash coming straight at him. A flash, not even a scream. Rei landed but immediately fell down again, The pain became too much for her to handle.... Rei opened her eyes and Mattias was leaning over her. Hello little one Mattias said. I owe you one now. What happened, Rei asked him. You killed a dark jedi, Rei, mattias replied. A tear came over Rei's cheek and she looked at her hands. From her hands she looked at her lightsaber which was on the table next to her bed. Mattias smiled at her but Rei did not feel joy at all. She closed her eyes and wandered off in a deep sleep.... Well thats the story, I hope you all like it |

The two Jedi nervously looked around at the jungle surrounding them, while the heavy rain kept falling. "Something's wrong, I can feel it through the Force, some kind of disturb...." They span around just as a lightsaber was ignited. The two rookie Jedi widened their eyes a bit in fear. In front of them a man all dressed in black walked towards them, holding a hissing red saber. "Enjoying a little picnic boys? Or just plain running away from danger?", the dark clothed person said. "You wish, Aratan," the Jedi in charge replied. They both ignited their lightsabers at the same time, the sabers vaporizing the rain making a little rainbow, and took a defensive position. "A bit scared are we? And with good reason...", Jacen Aratan said. No reply. Suddenly the two Jedi leaped forward, towards Aratan. He laughed and easily blocked the attacks. He leapt over one of them and hacked downwards, the Jedi only barely dodging. His friend ran towards Aratan, making ready to do an RDFA, when Aratan pulled him closer, using the Force, and lunged. The Jedi was sliced in half from the crotch to the chest. Aratan quickly picked up the dead Jedi's ligthsaber and ran towards the second Jedi, who was still shocked by the death of his comrade. Aratan span around, swinging his sabers, but the Jedi leaped backwards and avoided death by an inch. He tried to make a diagonal hack on Aratan, but just as the Jedi's saber was about to hit the open left side of Aratan, he felt a pressure around his throat. He held his lightsaber steadily in his right hand, so it wouldn't accidently cut off his leg, and tried to push away Aratan with the left, but he couldn't. Suddenly the pressure disappeared and herely avoided falling. As he looked up he faced two lightsabers forming a scissor around his throat. His decapacitated body fell to the ground and didn't move. "The Jedi are truely a weak order....." Jacen Aratan said, and started walking away slowly. |

The smell of sweat hung in the air like a fog. Silk turned around and saw nothing but the glows of red lightsabers. "Damn. Where do these guys come from?" Silk ignited his saber as he ran, cutting down bushes and foilage to cut a straight line through the jungle. Strafe jumping over a ravine, Silk turns to face his aggressors. "Lets see...six. Lets see where it goes from here." The six reborn jump over the ravine, and Silk smiles at them. He jumps up to kick one out of the air, dodging 2 more as he takes off. The normally lushous green ground now takes a red glow. One reborn is backstabbed in the mid air, and drops onto another. An acrobat kicks Silk to the ground and another lunges, knocking Silk's saber away. Silk rolls to avoid an RDFA which cuts through another Reborn. "Not very co-ordinated are you guys? Ooh, 3 on 1, this is going to be fun." The smell of burning flesh hangs over the scene. Silk stretches out to the force and pulls his yellow saber and a reborn red saber into his hands. Igniting both, he spins and slashes through an acrobat, throwing the red saber through the last fencer. The ground instantly hits Silk in the face. He lands with a dull thud. "You move quick. You want to have some fun with me?" A reborn boss with orange saber ignites. Silk hops up and the two duel with intensity for a couple minutes. Silk is hit in the chest with a surge of energy from the Reborn. Silk looks uneasy, but looks past him. Sensing trouble, the Reborn turns....into a lunge from Silent Whisper. "Nice save Whispy, I'll buy you dinner sometime." "Dream on Jedi-boy." It's good. Don't worry about it being long, though, the longer the better, it will help fill in the glaring hole left in the story once we remove the parts that dodn't belong. I hope this battle will go, you'll have to decide if it's good enough. "Tito quickly span around, egniting (sp) his lightsaber, just in time to block the Reborn's bloodred saber. He saw another Reborn run towards him out of the corner of his eye. Tito kicked the first Reborn in the stomach, and lunged towards the second Reborn. The Reborn dodged and sideslashed to hit Tito's now open left side, but Tito saw it coming and made an ydfa. The Reborn fell to the ground, split in two. The first Reborn, who had just recovered from the powerfull kick in the stomach, fake a sideslash to the left and instead downhacked towards Tito. Tito leapt above the Reborn and made a backstab. The Reborn tried to dodge, but too late; He collapsed with a hole in his stomach." Maybe it's a bit too long or something, feel free to edit. (Tito was just in honour of our little Academy-ghost. ) |
