Hey guys, dropping a quick note to all of you. I'll be done soon, and would love to check in on what all has been happening (I haven't read the news or anything.) Massadoobie has my cell number if anyone wants to come see me in Manhattan. I'll be here 1 more week. But other than that, I have loads of stories to tell. I'm an angry drunk though. I think I sprained my wrist or broke it last night. Don't punch outer walls. They are made of concrete. But I have some dents to fix in other places. We DID get to talk to some Iraqi reps, so that was interesting. Saudi Arabia had some opinions that were great, I meet privately with him today, and Iran was kinda abrasive. Pakistan I think got really pissed at us for bugging them about Kashmir and stuff. But I have to take off for another briefing, near central park. I hope you are all having fun in your air-conditioned homes in front of the PC. It's hotter than hell here, and I gotta wear the suit and tie. But take care guys. And oh, I have photos for ya. OK, so some fun stuff briefly. I DID see Colin Powell's motorcade, and Bush's motorcade. I also saw Blix, and was *this* close to being at the UNAMIR Conference where it was his last day. We DID get a briefing from Iraqi people. Very nice. I also did an interview with a member of the UN Counterterrorism Committee (CTC), as well as one today with a representative from Saudi Arabia. I got pics with only a few, as some (like the CTC guy) I cannot reference that I ever met with. He is going to help set me up with some nice opportunities, and thinks I would work well in the UN Office on Drug and Crime Prevention, in Vienna. They have a new CT branch, where one is sent and paid by the UN to go to various countries and help them develop their legislature and law enforcement against terrorism. YOu get paid by the UN for about 5 days, but THEN, the country pays for you to stay longer. Nice. I'd love to talk about my research more, it being terrorism, but a lot of it was stated on confidentiality. I may rewrite my paper to give no attributions, and allow people here to take a look at it, at what issues there are with terrorism in the global community. Also, I have a variety of documents that show US and UK terrorism. One most notable is the the US and UK had organizations that attacked Iraqi civilians and industries in early 2002. Of course, the US and UK, whn I questioned them, simply said that they "don't do terrorism". Sure. But I will be back home in Wisconsin soon, and back to being a 56k demon. I'll hop on IRC, and when I get my photos done up, then I will place them somewhere. Hector has a better picture for his profile pic (forthcoming). He got to sit in a REALLY nice chairman seat, and get a photo. I mean, this thing is Kofi-level seating. Good stuff. But I have to go off to talk to an Indian Legal expert. They wrote many of the current legislature on terrorism, so it would be great to talk to them. Well, I check my e-mail and all, and Doobie should have my cell if anyone can call me for the 3rd or 4th. I go back home on the 5th. But really, the UN is great, and I have many opportunities to go places. It must be great to know two people that go well in teh UN. Heh. Don't tell Hector, but he admitted to me that he is screwed over on his research paper, and I am near being beheaded because everyone is jealous of my progress. I just love terrorism, and I don't even get why so many people are so nice to me. I mean, I've nothing going for me, no smile, no looks. Must be the Jedi robe I always wear . They know not to mess with Jedi, especially ones from the JA.Later all, I'll catch up to news later. Oh, and this post is FROM the INSIDE of the UN. I could show you on a photo where I am writing from, but there's no photo I can post here. Well, I guess this is long, but I've been away for some time, so I am allowed a long post.
