Does anyone know of a good Shaders tutorial using ShaderEd2? I've looked everywhere and can't find anything! If not, would anyone mind walking me through it? I'm trying to make hair similar to that on the wookiee model... _______________ "You want eternal rest? I've got it right here!" -Solid Snake- The Matrix: Unplugged |

Mine's in the GTKRadiant directory in a folder called Q3AShader_Manual. If memory serves it was put there by the Radiant installer. If not, either Google it or e-mail me, and I can .zip it up and send it to you. _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |

My advice on ShaderEd is simply not to use it. When first learning to write shaders you're much better off reading the shader manual and writing your shaders with notepad. You'll acquire a far better understanding of how they work and end up with shaders of better quality. Once you've mastered the language of shaders, you'll probably find that you prefer working directly with the script to using ShaderEd. _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |
