I'm not sure why I'm putting this on crazy forum, as its quite a serious thing. Spose I guess I get more views of here. I just found out I've failed my exams Its not fair, Its over now An end to all my plans I know the worlds not over but thats the way it seems I've messed my life right up I've shattered all my dreams All play and no work I was such a fool mucked about as a kid bullied all through school College was no different Spent it smoking joints why should I continue ? Tell me, whats the point ? All that work for nothing what a waste of time but I know that I'll get over this I know that I'll be fine I just found out I've failed my exams thats what happens when you put your life in a stranger's hands. _______________ Apprenctice of Jedi Master Ascari (deceased) Descended from a line of great Jedi Will argue any point of view from any side  |

Lol, good for u mate! Don't fret about the mum thing, when you get big enough to stop them from spankin you, they can resort to emotional blackmail to get you to "straighten up and fly right". I'm sure she means well with what she's saying, but it's hard for her to realise that your a fully grown person now. So because of that, she can seem a bit insensitive. She needs to adjust and relate to you as an adult. I'm gonna try and re-sit, as I wanna live the student life and put off going out into the 'real world' for as long as possible I'm not to let down by it, what upset me most is what my mum said. "I'm not angry, I'm just dissapointed" heh, that hurts a whole lot more. She blaimed it on computer, and JKII. Damn all you people for being so nice and consuming my time!! That's too bad man.. But really, try not to worry too much. There are plenty of options in this situation. You could resit, you could take a break from education for a year or 2 and get some real world experience (universities absolutely love this), you could go back as a mature student a bit further in the future (uni's love mature students most of all!). And, to be completely honest with you, the older I've gotten, the less exam results have mattered. What really matters in my field (I.T. Support), is whether you know your stuff and how well you get on with people. The problem you'll have at the moment is a lack of perspective. Everyone around you will have been telling you just how vital these exam results are. Well, they're not. Not even close to vital. Food is vital. Shelter is vital. Water is vital. Good exam results are nice, but their value is hugely exaggerated by members of the educational establishment. So, chin up dood, take out your frustration by hacking me to death in JK2, and plan how YOU WANT to spend your future. Allow me to comment... You're a joker if you had even an inkling of hope in passing after seeing our grades just before the final marking. I warned you not to kid yourself dude... BUT...only enough although I was pretty 100% about failing it still hadn't hit me until you rang me up and told me (which I appreciate).
