personally I run 1280x1024, but you should ALWAYS design for 800x600. There are folks who still use that resolution out there and there are folks (like me) who HATE maximized windows.

hm, i agree, 1280 on a 17'' are nasty. get a 19'' monitor and everything is fine

yuck nething lower than 1280 by 960 is just nasty to me lol im to use to 1280 by 1024 if i could i would put a higher resolution but my monitor isnt able to

EEEEeeeek. I can't stand resolutions less than 1024 x 860. So, that's me... 1024 or higher.

I use 1024x860. I still know alot who use 800x600

If I set my display to 1280x1024 I'd need a magnifying glass to see what I'm typing! I don't feel like changing the size of all my icons and stuff, it's a PITA (Pain In The A$$).

Some of my clients still have their resolution set to 800x600!!!
