Myn Duw! Croeso! Nice to know there's a fellow countryman in the academy. On the subject of graphics cards, it really varies a lot depending on your price range. I can only speak reliably from experience. I have a GeForce FX 5200 myself, and it rocks! 0 problems, even with all details at max, anti aliasing etc all on. It only cost me about £70 too, and is fully DirectX 9 compliant, has TV out etc. At the moment, I'd say if top performance per £ is your aim, then get a geforce 4 ti4200, or if max features for your money is the aim, but still have reasonable performance, try the geforce fx 5200 (ultra if the price isnt too high) That's not to say ATI havent got some good cards out. They do. It's just that they have (in the past), had rather unreliable drivers. So I've bought nvidia cards ever since 3dfx went bust.
