The only exception to dubbed anime sucking much butt is Cowboy Bebop. They chose the perfect american (?) actors and actresses for those characters. Spike and Jet sound way too alike in the original audio track. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

I must say that I'm not truely into anime as much as I would like to be, but what I've seen so far was really cool and I hope I soon get into more. Think is, I'm not the type of guy who just picks any old thing out to try it out. I need to know something about the anime's before I just go out and rend/buy them. I understand alot of the anime on Cartoon Network is really good, but I dislike watching dubbed anime. I like hearing the original japanese voices and I don't mind reading subtitles anyway. So what if Transformers wasn't exactly anime? I respect it as anime. THE MOVIE IS THE GREATEST! I've gotta say this...WTF WERE THEY THINKING WHEN THEY AIRED REIGN ON CARTOON NETWORK?! Edit: so what if all the shows she mentioned have been on Cartoon Network? Maybe she only has access to anime through the station. I know the feeling. Heh, I've been getting into an anime show called Gate Keepers 21. Though, in the US, they only air it on TechTV at 4:30pm EDT. Anyhoo, back to Gate Keepers. Its about 3 girls who are gate keepers, who are a part of a network to defend the world. These "invaders" come in and try to, you guessed it, invade Earth. The 3 girls have to use gates to stop them! I liked DBZ for about a year or 3, all the way from the beginning to the majin buu saga I watched. Gundam Wing is okay, a lot of people in my school like it, but I think its just kinda... stupid.
