Bump. Mune, you may want to take a look at the text in the Holocron... 1.1.3: How do I join the Jedi Academy? "..the tool bar thing on the right side of the page, do you see the link that says Sign Up! ? Click it! Once the next page loads, fill out the information...." Since the website has changed formats, we gotta update what stuff looks like to the viewers. STATE OF ACADEMY PART 4!!! Mini state of the Academy address -massadoobie- Aug 13 01:09am - I'm sure those of you who have been around a while are saying "Mini? HA! Doobie can't give just a MINI address, they're always huge!" Well watch me! There's been a lot of talk about the state of the Academy as of late. Here's my take on things. We're in a dead zone. JK2 has plateau'd and we're all waiting for JK:JA to come out. People are tired, vacationing, or simply drained out of JK2. But things are changing. The JACs are all coming out of hibernation (except JACen, he's been holding down the fort, go JACe!), we're getting the JAT ranks reorganized, the JAK ranks have been filled, and the transition to JA is being planned as we speak. Things are looking up right now for the future. I should warn you though that those of you who are disheartened and either considering retiring or have already retired, things won't get better or change quickly. We're focusing all of our energy on getting ready for JA, so there won't be any noticeable changes until JA gets closer to release. The JK2 incarnation of the Academy is, in my opinion, running smoothly, with classes, dedicated teachers, and good students. Just wait out the "dog days" and rest assured that, behind the scenes, we're getting ready to bring the JA to the next level! And now I'm off to my cave to hibernate more until I need to make another appearance (SAY SOMETHING RUUK)!!! There has been a discussion about having these two threads separate. I'm now wondering if it isn't just going to confuse things. Exar, Aeth...comment on this again, please.
