A day that lived in infamy...

So today I went down to the local Virgin Megastore and decided to check out their wares in the aptly dubbed "Video Games" area. I found to my shock and dismay ample evidence that I had been spending to much time with this insufferably wretched "RL" business. What I saw, which froze my blood and forced a swell of undecidedly unjedi-like rage through my soul, was that not only had JA been released and I not noticed but also a new expansion to MOHAA. I wanted to stab somebody... Vehemently. Some would say (though I'm sure most of you understand my emotional distress) that they are only video games, pshaw, so you buy it a couple days later big deal. Those are the kind of people I wanted to stab... Vehemently. I almost snapped right then and there and, had it not been for a playable Futurama game for X-box (which is a really nifty game, I reccomend it), I probably would have torn through the surrounding Megastore consumers like a tiger through credit card-wielding lambs. And now you must say to yourself "Ah, but surely his bloodlust was sated when he purchased the game, yes?" No. Because I did not buy the game. "*GASP*!!" For various reasons. First: money. Specifically, my lack thereof. Secondly: compatibility. I have finished building my new computer (Oh, and it is like the Samuel L. Jackson of computers: it may not be the biggest, it may not be the strongest but it wins out on sheer badass-ness.) but if I can't afford a $50 game, how can I afford a $200+ OS? No, it's chugging along quite happily on Red Hat 9 for now. Why? Cause it's free. :P Fortunately my birthday was last sunday the 21st so hopefully a parent or grandparent will help me with that.
So that's that. I guess "A day that will live in infamy" was a tad exaggerated. Hmmm... but maybe not. All I know is that it'll take them quite a while to mop up all that blood... heheheh ;)
"HOO ha!" Yup. That's what I said.

No. It's because I love you"
Oh, Anakin, you're eloquence is second to none.

Hehe I know how you feel. It was the same for me as JK2 came out. I just browsed Cd's and suddenly I saw a new game there... I was like WTF... (Being a huge fan of Dark Forces, JK1, MotS, SW generally. And there was it a new game and I didn't even knew it was out)

JA is definately worth the purchase. People just have to find something to complain about. Cheer up, people. :P

Wanna know what my name means? Peralos Ale'Velkyrii: Perilous Drunken Angel, or PDA for short. :P
Perilous, because I'm bound to get into fights I can't win. Drunken, because ALE! Angel, because a valkyrie is basically an angel of Odin.
I'm here to send you to the afterlife, but I can't gurantee I'll be stable enough to win a fight. :D
