Wow! I loved FFVII, although I personally found that there was an equal amount of narrative depth in the story of FFVIII (waits for the stones from fellow FF flingers), even though the whole sanity theme (am I a butterfly? LMAO) was sooo well done in FFVII. FF rules, so I'll shut up *tries to buy Chrono Cross...again*. *Hears the combination of the flashback music (child based, as in Aeris's first flashback and the early Nibelheim ones) with the eerie mansion and world map music....all we need is waltz de chocobos and it will RUUULE* ME<-------has been a FF player since FF5(replayed on emus... as all should [not that it makes much difference for this, I think...don't want to be a psycho purist, now ]). Ganulf was a tit, but since then all the characters have been top notch. Including Aeris, LOL And TSW, while unbelievably poor, did have a nice soundtrack. If you saw the trailer, you will see Cloud looking out onto Midgar. He sticks his sword into the ground and mutters something (not really known what is said.) Anyone know the significance of the spot that he sticks his sword in the ground? It's the spot where Zach was shot by Shinra soldiers. It's rumored that you see Zach in a flashback. OK, found the video...nice stuff. I think, and maybe a POTENTIAL SPOILER here, but, I think that the wheelchair guy is good old Sephi. And then the others would be children, making the whole thing work out. As I seem to remember, our heor Cloud met the real Cloud (Zach), two years before FFVII. So there was that incident at Nibelheim Reactor, two years later, the FFVII main story, and two years later, this. But I guess this is not a game. Works for me, I'll like the eye candy. I want to know where the video is, and any and all screenshots. Final Fantasy is like crack to me. I'm playing FFT Advanced when I get the chance, even just before this. It's great when waiting for downloads, etc. FFVII is uber-crack to me. I still play it. So this will be sweetness all over again. Yeah, I found out about this about a week ago. Looks good, and I have high hopes, but not too high of course. Greatest RPG ever, in my opinion, and the first one I ever played. EVER. Now, I drag out my clock, and start the countdown. Hopefully, if they do do voices, and this miraculously appears in the states, Square in America A) Gets the voices right or B)Gives me subtitles for Japanese.
