This'll be the non-psycho-hypnosis thread on Kill Bill. Really, I guess people just want to know a bit more on it, talk about how it rocked, etc. Please do not post spoilers, unless you do the spoler rules and have it distintctly marked. There are some good points in this one, so it's nice to keep them a surprise. All this being said, go see the movie, discuss it, ask questions, I guess. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. I'm sorry... I thought Pulp Fiction was awesome. Kill Bill is okay, but not impressive...at least for me. Er....Ash, try to find a Iaido instructor. Kendo is not gonna get you to anything REAL cool. You have to call out your strikes, for crying out loud. How odd it is to yell "HEAD!" right before you swing at their head. Some of the stuff used is very advanced iaido. Go for that if you can. Kendo=the saber fighting in the original Star WArs trilogy. "Better then Pulp Fiction" all depends on Vol. 2 but so far so good. pulp fiction is all about dilogue and story continuation. this movie is more action with a focus on cinimatic looks. still, pulp fiction has so many great quotes. _______________ "We keep odd hours...." ----------------------- They Live, We Sleep |

Thurman and Liu are the only names I remember. If you want a simple explination on what the movie was: It was a bunch of crazy Americans and a few others making a moder Japanese samurai movie. Make sense? Cool. Personally, I thought it was a great movie even though the language was a little excessive, and blood? HAH! There was a TON of blood! Not so much gore, but BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD! ........did I mention there was a lot of blood? _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |

Quentin Tarantino Movie. You know him, right? Pulp Fiction, resevior dogs... And it stars (mailnly, from what I can remember, Uma Thurman and Lucy Lui). A few other people that I recognize, but no other real big-name people. Still good, though. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. So what's it about? Bridal party gets wiped out by an assasination squad (ecept the main character, you'll figure that out quick, since we all KNOW the main character does not die in the opening scene.) So she seeks to....KILL BILL, the guy that is responsible for this. We never actually "see" him in this first part of the movie, as the movie is in two parts, one to come out early next year. IN this one, she mainly goes after 2 of the members of the assasination squad, gets a sweet-ass katana, and there's a whole lotta blood. There is a "chapter" that is done in really nice anime as well. It will be one of those few anime parts that I think everyone can enjoy, even those in the "anime sucks" club. This one has soem gratifying gore, that you are glad they animated, since it relly couldn't have been done in real film. Way bloody. So, that's to fill you in. I just think the whole thing was artfully done, and had a real level of intensity. I'm sure others can come in and put down a "THIS MOVIE RULEZ!!!!!" type of thing. So I'll leave such to them. Go see it. If you have to, knock off an old guy for his ID and wallet so you can get in. Heh. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace.
