Something happened tonight.... I watched Ep I for the first time in a long time. I never really liked it when it came out except the pod racing and Darth Maul. I never really understood the story too much and much of it just didn't make any sense to me. This time through, I actually enjoyed watching it, understood it, and even laughed at Jar Jar Binks. Jar Jar didn't bother me at all this time. Some of the names of the players here in the Academy inspired a nice search of Lucas Films site and I looked up all the names I could remember to find out who people were naming themselves after. I read all the pages, Exar Kun, Plo Koon, Mara Jade, etc, etc... I learned quite a bit about Star Wars I never understood before, especially what the Sith was and who Darth Sidious was. I thought that Darth Sidious was who Palpatine ends up being a.k.a. The Emperor. I know all about it now and Episode I was really enjoyable to watch. I really didn't understand that Star Wars is the story of Anakin Skywalker until Episode II. I've watched Ep II at least 10 times now. I'm seeing some of the ads for Ep III and I just can't wait to see how Darth Vader is born. The next movie is going to be the best one yet. _______________ Gone but hopefully not forgotten... |

As a mattrer of fact i did look you up, Darth. I wanted to find out more about where Darth Maul came from. I got a little bit more, but not all that much. Darth Maul is one of my favorite characters. Too bad his life span was so short in the movies. It would be interesting to see more about him and Darth Sidious. Darth Maul and the staff is probably why I'm so into JK3 so much. I agree... That little Anakin is so annoying They could've chosen someone better to play him he really didn't seem convincing enough... lol neat, and its not spam (in my opinion) But Personally, I hated Anakin in ep 1, I still do every time I watch it. Hes so annoying. He just seems to know everything better then anyone else. :S:S:S Really annoying. Also when hes in the plane: Qui GOn Told me to stay in the plane, So thats what im gonna do...... little annoying brat if you ask me But other then that, the movie rocked |

I thought number one sucked as well. I found it hard to figure out where they were going and what was happening. It just seemed to be an excuse to make fancy costumes and wave sabers around. But the second time around I was kinda able to follow along but Jar Jar sh*ts me up the wall. Still. _______________ A true friend isn't the one bailing you out of jail, he's the one sitting next to you saying, "Man, that was cool!"
