Wow this is very weird. I was actually about to make a thread about an anniversary, my own anniversary. Today 10/28/03 marks my one year anniversary with the JA. One year ago I joined this lovely establishment. It's very surrealistic to think that year ago my life had nothing to do with the JA. I didn't know what a DFA was, or a lunge whore, or a chat killer...nutin, nada, didnt know what any of that meant. Hell i didn't even know what 1337 speak was. Ahhhh my newbness, it was like being a newborn baby. So much fresh raw knowledge that I learned. Sure knowing what a DFA is isn't going to help me in real life, but it sure as hell is fun to learn. But besides all the cool stuff I learned here in the JA I was also able to make lots of good friends here. Friends that honostly I would love to meet in real life. When I joined a year ago I had no expectation to make any friends here. I joined for a single purpose;to get better at JK2 so I could whomp some ass on public servers. The funny thing is that I have only been on like 3 public servers since then, and those were becuase of feild trips (Bubu's awesome feild trip class). So looking back on it, I think joining the JA has been one of my best decisions in life. I have learned a great deal about myself. Since I joined I am now a very humble individual and have learned to take life with stride (thanks to all the trainers like Nightcrawler, Bubu, and Huxley). Man, one year. To all the friends I've made; new, old, retired, etc, I just wanna say thanks for being awesome people and making the JA what it is: The best online community ever!
