Man, have ANY of you looked in the mirror lately? I mean, if STAR WARS makes you look like you do, then yes, yes, Star Wars is sad. /me looks in mirror /me cries myself to sleep _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. That's only a slogan, and is as misleading as slogans always are. Jedi fight for civilization, because only civilization creates peace. |

LMAO!!  Oh! THAT kind of sad. I blame highschool and corporations. Let me explain: the "geeks" in highschool are the ones constantly harassed/put down/beat up/ etc, so they grow up despising the restrictive and unpleastant world that they are forced to endure. The only possible escape is into a world of fantasy where they can be anything their imagination can come up with. This is a trend similar in all fantasy activities, Star Wars, AD&D, and anything else. Now you may be saying "okay, that makes sense I guess, but that doesn't explain corporations." You're right. And this part is more theoretical because while I've been in the highschool situation I have not been in the Corporate arena. However I figure anybody who spends 40+ hours a week trapped in a 4X4X5 foot box would desire some type of an escape into fantasy... right? _______________ "It's because I love you. Star Wars is sad because George Lucas created one of the greatest epic movie trilogies ever made and decided to warp it into something wretched. Not unlike the history of the ring wraiths in LOTR. I believe that Rhan means why do people think star wars is for geeks etc etc. The answer to this is these people are stuck up and sad themselves, they have their heads so far up their arse they cant imagine another galaxy or whatever because they have a liusy imaginations and the reasons i just stated.
