Tutorial - Making a Demo | |

Many of us have come in contact with rude players here at the jedi academy and want to see that it stops. Getting a screenshot is one way. Here is how to make a demo that catches the action better.
1. In console type in g_synchronousclients 1. That sets it up so you can record. 2. When your ready to record, in console type record <insert name of recording here>. The recording process will begin and you will see the size meter pop up on your screen. 3. When you are ready to stop recording, in console type stop. 4. If you want to record another demo simply type in record <new record name> and it will go again. When your done type stop. When your finished remember to change the g_synchronousclients back to 0. You've recorded a demo. Now, when you want to view the demo, it must be moved. Being at the JA, the demo records in a folder called demos under the ja mod folder. In order to view it you have to move it to a demos folder under the gamedata/base folder. If the folder doesn't exist when you want to view it, you can create the folder. _______________ Death is only the beginning. This post was edited by Kalheka on Jan 30 2003 12:15am. |
