A bastard of the Force. No, really. His mother wasn't married to the force. Thus he's a bastard. On a seperate note: Am I the only one who wants to shank Anakin?  Honestly, the Anakin character in both Episodes 1 and 2 are both whiny little bastards that I wouldn't mind stabbing in the face with a sharpened toothbrush. I hate that Lucas took the coolest villian (except for TK-421 of course  ) and turned him into teh whiniest little bitch (pardon the language) to ever appear in Star Wars. On the other hand, I guess it does explain why Luke's so whiny. It's a family trait.  *stabs Anakin in the face with a shiv* _______________ "It's because I love you. OK, tell me again, why are Jedi trained at a very young age? Oh thats right, discipline and for their uncorrupted mind. If you would think bout it alittle longer rather than want to "shiv" someone, their wineyness comes from there late training. Its just part of the character. IMO the Anakin from Ep1 really needs a kick in the @$$ (or maybe more...) In Ep2 the Character has much improved, but is still not as convincing as he should be... Come on this guy is gonna kill all the Jedi a few years later... oh and btw Muad who taught you that "Ich essen Herr Hund" nonsense...The proper form would be:"Ich esse Herrn Hund" and that is still sick too...  _______________ I know the pieces fit, 'cause i watched them fall away... |

I dunno. I agree. I believe Anakin has become a weak character in the prequels, and it's dissapointing. But to me, the story speaks louder than the characters, so it's minor compared to other drawbacks that could have taken place. _______________ "If you hold back anything, I'll kill you. A bastard of the Force. I see your point... But it wasn't the mothers choice to keep the kid, was it? I don't think you are the only one who wants to do that, I, personally, totally didn't like Anakin in Ep1. But he was better in Ep2, because he did and said things (like in the Tusken camp) that I would have done as well...
