You can't stop. All this work and you can't stop. The world is waiting for you, and your pocket is on the line. Everything you ever dreamed for is yours. And here you are. Living the life you always wanted. And yet it goes by so fast. Next glance at the clock and your house is full. A blink and they are gone. Little grandchildren dreaming of their own lives. You look back on your own. It has been a long life. Pages and pages. But there is a certain blank. You cannot hold back. A blank page, filled with only a tear. You want to tell your posterity to savor every moment. To warn them of time, it's mercilessness. You call attention to yourself, clear your throat, glance at the clock. But then it ticks.
